The Owner

Meka Harris, M.A. CCC-SLP

I originally went to college to pursue a career in journalism. I enjoyed reporting on the news and writing which led me to join my university's radio and news station. I began taking classes in voice, diction, and phonetics as part of my curriculum and loved it! I shadowed several speech therapists in the area and realized just how critical speech therapy was for infants and the elderly. From there, I decided to get my Master's degree from Appalachian State University in Communication Disorders and become a speech-language pathologist in the greater Charlotte, NC area.
